Centrally positioned on the Campus of Ole Miss adjacent to the lauded Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is the Manning Athletics Performance Center. The newly renovated & expanded facility is on the forefront of college athletics providing student-athletes with arguably the best experiences, and latest technologies allowing athletes excellent opportunities to reach their full potential. As part of the CHAMPIONS NOW campaign, it also provides new recruits tangible confirmation of the Universities Commitment to athletic success. Glazing was used extensively throughout the interior to allow for a flood of light from the outside as well as to provide a modern open feel. NANAWALL All Glass Center Pivot Walls were used strategically in the building allowing for full visibility while in place allowing for separate spaces, but in a short moment those areas can become one by simply releasing the panels & sliding them away. OBE All Glass Entrances and Sidelights were utilized extensively throughout the interior to provide intimate spaces from offices, therapy areas, to meeting rooms, but still heed to the openness of the design for the facility. The head coach enjoys a sizable full glass steam shower with etched glass for privacy along with a peculiar transom lite that can be rotated to control the steam in the unit. Finally, OBE was utilized once again providing for expansive glass display cases at the buildings second level. With the current state of collegiate sports, the Manning Center is a centerpiece putting Ole Miss Athletics at the forefront of athletic development, recruitment, and retention and on a solid path moving forward for some time.
